Maple Accountancy Services was founded in 1989 by Jenny Priestley. Maple Business Advisors Ltd was formed in 2003, some things change others remain the same. We are committed to filling what we see as a gap in the market. The small business sector is often overlooked by the larger firms of accountants, Maple are providing the range and quality of service that is usually reserved for larger firms. Our aim is to be the best accountants for small business. We are Maple Accountants and Business Advisors; we judge our performance by our clients’ success: we see our main function as helping our clients create and preserve wealth.
Maple is a multi-disciplined team with a wealth of experience in helping owner-managed businesses as they grow and develop. Our team members’ different strengths range from professionals in taxation, accounts preparation, book-keeping, payroll, management accounting, marketing, management consultancy and HR – we work together to ensure that all Maple clients get a 3 dimensional view of their business and of course our aim is to create success for our clients.
Jenny Priestley
Experience/specialism: Despite receiving her training in a large national firm of Chartered Accountants Jenny is remarkably positive and commercial in her outlook, clients often say they leave a meeting with her with renewed enthusiasm for their business. Jenny has over 25 years in accountancy practise, working on the preparation of accounts and tax returns for small businesses with turnovers less than £64 Million.
Robert Burns
Experience/specialism: Robert started in industry as a cost and management accountant preparing Investment appraisals, budgets, analyses and accounts for large multinational businesses. Robert is something of a spreadsheet wizard and seems able to convert most business processes into a mathematical formula; it’s all in the detail.
